Happy Birthday Daris!
Come out to The Birthday Bar Bash for great drink specials, a party that will go down in history, and rock out to 3D November 26th!
3D will start the party at 9pm so get there early because the place will get packed! Hotrod, Playboy, Killer and Jet are always ready to rock your face off. They're the alter-egos of four Omaha musicians who are keeping '80s hair-metal alive in a tribute band called 3D In Your Face. Singer-keyboardist Alan King - whose stage name is Hotrod - co-founded the band a decade ago. He's joined by drummer Jeremy Deans (aka Playboy), bassist Kelly Hedrick (aka Killer) and guitarist-singer Jody Kermoade (aka Jet). Even their guitar, sound and lighting technicians have stage names: Spade, Thunder and Lightning. Stage names are just a small part of what makes 3D In Your Face one of the region's most popular hair-band tribute groups. They also dress the part with leather, spandex, wigs and makeup - and lots of rock 'n' roll attitude. Add a light show, pyrotechnics, fog and smoke machines, a spinning drum riser and some choreographed stage moves, and it's like the '80s all over again. It's a bit over the top - to say the least - but that's what hair bands were all about.
